Hackathon – Code Meet 2025
1. Description :
Step into the world of innovation and creativity at Code Meet 2025 Hackathon. This event is designed to challenge your problem-solving skills, creativity, and ability to build solutions under pressure. Participants will work in teams to develop innovative solutions for real-world problems using technology. It's not just about coding—it's about thinking outside the box, collaborating effectively, and creating something meaningful. Let's build the future together!
2. Prize Money :
Winner: ₹30,000
Runner-up: ₹20,000
All participants will receive participation certificates.
3. GENERAL GUIDELINES:
1. THE HACKATHON WILL BE CONDUCTED IN TWO ROUNDS: ROUND 1 (qualification round - online): IDEA SUBMISSION & EVALUATION.
2. ROUND 2 (ON-CAMPUS HACKATHON): 24-HOUR CODING & PRESENTATION.
4. REGISTRATION FEES :
1. ROUND 1 (qualification round - online): 100 RS PER TEAM.
2. ROUND 2 (ON-CAMPUS): QUALIFIED TEAMS FROM ROUND 1 HAVE TO PAY 300RS PER TEAM FOR THE REGISTRATION OF ROUND.
THE REGISTRATION FEE COLLECTED FROM THE HACKATHON WILL BE UTILIZED FOR PROVIDING:
- DAY 1: LUNCH, SNACKS AND DINNER (VEG)
- DAY 2: BREAKFAST (VEG) - NECESSARY EQUIPMENT/FACILITIES
4. ROUND 1 – VIRTUAL ROUND :(4th and 5th Oct 6:00pm onwards)
Registration will be closed on 3rd October.
1. TEAMS MUST REGISTER ONLINE AND COMPLETE PAYMENT TO CONFIRM PARTICIPATION.
2. EACH TEAM MUST SUBMIT: SELECT PROBLEM STATEMENT, A PPT DESCRIBING THEIR IDEA, PROPOSED SOLUTION, AND EXPECTED OUTCOMES. TEAMS MUST PRESENT THEIR IDEA ONLINE VIA A SCHEDULED VIDEO MEETING.
3. TEAMS WILL BE EVALUATED ON: INNOVATION & ORIGINALITY OF THE IDEA. PRACTICALITY & FEASIBILITY. PRESENTATION SKILLS & CLARITY OF THOUGHT.
4. THE NUMBER OF TEAMS ADVANCING TO THE SECOND ROUND WILL BE DECIDED BASED ON THE REGISTRATIONS AND EVALUATIONS FROM THE FIRST ROUND BY THE JUDGES.
5. SHORTLISTED TEAMS WILL BE INVITED TO PARTICIPATE IN THE ON-CAMPUS HACKATHON. ROUND 2 – ON-CAMPUS HACKATHON (24 HOURS) 1. SELECTED TEAMS MUST REPORT TO THE COLLEGE CAMPUS ON THE MENTIONED DATE & TIME. 2. AT THE END OF 24 HOURS, TEAMS WILL PRESENT THEIR PROJECT/DEMO BEFORE THE JUDGING PANEL.
5. ROUND 2 – ON-CAMPUS HACKATHON (24 HOURS Hackathon (12th Oct)) :
1. SELECTED TEAMS MUST REPORT TO THE COLLEGE CAMPUS ON THE MENTIONED DATE & TIME.
2. AT THE END OF 24 HOURS, TEAMS WILL PRESENT THEIR PROJECT/DEMO BEFORE THE JUDGING PANEL.
6. Rules & Regulations :
1. Participation: This is a team-based event with 2-4 members per team.
2. Task Overview: Teams will be given a problem statement and must develop a working solution within the given time frame.
3. Time Limit: The hackathon will run for 24 hours. Teams must submit their projects before the deadline.
4. Technology Stack: Teams can use any programming language, framework, or technology of their choice.
5. Submission: Teams must submit their complete project including source code, documentation, and a demo video.
6. Evaluation & Winning Criteria: Projects will be judged based on:
• Innovation and creativity
• Technical implementation
• Problem-solving approach
• Presentation and demo quality
7. Fair Play: All code must be written during the hackathon. Use of pre-written code is strictly prohibited.
8. Organizer's Decision: All participants must follow instructions; the decision of judges/organizers is final and binding.
