Code Meet 2025 Paper Pitch

1.Description :

Paper Pitch is a unique idea-pitching competition where teams of 2 or 4 members are challenged to develop innovative solutions for current real-world problems. Before entering the competition, participants can research and gather information from online journals and resources. However, once inside the competition room, they must rely solely on their creativity, analytical thinking, and pen-and-paper skills to structure and present their ideas. The competition is designed to test problem-solving abilities without the aid of any electronic devices, focusing on a clear, well-organized plan and flowcharts to outline their solutions.

2.Prize Money :

Winner: ₹5,000
Runner-up: ₹3,000
All participants will receive participation certificates.

3.Rules :

• Team Composition: Each team must consist of 2 to 4 participants.
• Pre-Competition Research: Participants are allowed to refer to web journals and other materials before entering the competition. They can bring printed journals for reference, which will be inspected by volunteers.
• Materials Provided: Each team will be given 10 to 20 A4 sheets for drafting their ideas, flowcharts, and plans.
• Task: Teams need to conceptualize and structure a solution to a current problem, clearly presenting it with a well-thought-out plan and flowchart.
• Evaluation Criteria: Solutions will be judged based on creativity, practicality, structure, and clarity of the idea, as well as the quality of flowcharts and the plan presented.
• Time Limit: The competition will last for 2 hours.
• Submission: Teams must submit their structured idea along with the flowchart on the provided sheets before the time limit.

4.Required Materials :

• A4 sheets (10 to 20 per team) - Will be provided by Event Coordinator
• Pens, pencils, erasers, and rulers (provided by participants)
• Printed journals (cross-checked by volunteers before entry)
